The difference between American medical care and Japanese care.

Masato Nakagomi
However, I think American medical students are better than us, due to the difference in our systems. For example, American med students can do tracheal intubation, take blood and conduct practical medical interviews and so on during their university life. They start to learn how to interview when they are in their first or second year, which is very effective. American medical students can look patients in the eye , sympathizing with them and value the patients themselves. These are also important things for doctors in Japan and we have to learn and train how to do them. In the future, I would like to become a friendly doctor like the American doctors I met.
