ACLS/Phelps Hospital（ACLS研修）

On last 2 days in New York, We did ACLS training at Phelps hospital-emergency training center. We had already get a BLS license, but ACLS lesson in English was very hard. I learned many English technical terms there. We experienced emergency treatment with dolls. The doll had pulse, blood pressure, and breathing, and We could see ECG. We must have acted according to the circumstances. So it was great experience.
和訳 ニューヨークでの最後の2日は、フェルプス病院救急トレーニングセンターにてACLSのトレーニングを受けました。私たちはすでにBLSの資格は持っていたのですが、英語でのACLSの授業は難しく感じました。ここでも多くの医療用語を知りました。模型を使って救急処置の演習をしました。その模型は、脈も血圧も呼吸も再現でき、心電図も測定できました。模型の状況を理解して、その状況に応じて処置を行わなければならないので、とても良い経験になりました。

I had practiced it once as a practice of emergency medicine department in Kanazawa University, but this experience at Phelps was much more practical. The algorithm of treatment for dying patients will be useful in the future.
和訳 今回のACLSコースで行ったようなロールプレイ形式の救急救命実習は、金沢大学におけるBLS実習中にも少しだけ行う機会があったのですが、今回の方がずっと実践的だと感じました。本コースで学んだ蘇生のためのアルゴリズムは、将来医師になってからも大いに役立つと思います。
