ＮＹ医学研修プログラム（2015年8月）

Besides the simulation center visit, we also visited several research laboratories in New York and met many researchers there. It was extremely interesting. They talked with us about their research and it was really impressive. Despite being quite young they can all do very high-level research and have their own lab. Some have even quit their jobs in Japan. But all of them said they were happy that they can work in New York. My impression about the researchers was that they’re very honest with their feelings, what they want to do, and they are positive about their life.

（和訳）このほかに、研究室の訪問も行い、研究室の方々にお会いできました。研究のことについてお話してくださって、まだ若いのにこんな素晴らしい研究をしていることにとても驚きました。中には日本での職をやめてニューヨークに来た方もいましたが、みなさんニューヨークで働けてるのがとても楽しそうでした。訪問した印象としては、みなさん自分のやりたいことにたいしてとても素直だなあという感じでした。
