I was interested in the system of the family doctor, so it was interesting to know why they choose their specialty and how they train at Phelps. Meeting the residents were very precious opportunity, so next visitors should have the same chance.
和訳 米国の医学教育制度は日本のものとは大きく異なりますが、私はその中でも家庭医制度に興味を持ちました。家庭医を志している若いドクターから、なぜその領域を選びどのように研修を行っているか直接話を聞くのは、大変貴重な機会でした。次回以降ニューヨーク研修に行かれる学生にも、ぜひこのような場が持たれると良いと思います。
