Nozomu Oikawa
He is a native Japanese researcher. His work was very interesting. I was impressed that he is researching the mysteries of the brain in NY. I think American labs are very different from Japanese labs in that NY labs are more open and researchers there actively collaborate with each other. I have been planning to go to the USA for research in the future, so this visit has helped me focus on my vision .

（和訳）ニューヨークマウントサイナイ大学では日本人研究者の森下助教授にお会いしました。彼の研究はとても興味深く、ここでは書ききれないのですが、遠く離れた地で脳の不思議を解明しようとしている彼に感動いたしました。ニューヨークの研究室はオープンで積極的にお互いにコラボレーションしているのが日本の研究室との大きな違いだと思いました。私もアメリカに研究留学することを考えていたので、今回の訪問は自分の将来のビジョンを明確にさせてくれました。
